Is Biker Buddy training a good fit for me?

How much is BHST going to cost? $$$

Basic Handling Skills Test (BHST) start from $100.00 for competent riders. We have options for “nerve settlers” $150.00 and “beginners” up to $200.00 for an hours training before and including the test.

When can I book in?

Biker Buddy is available most weekends and after business hours during daylight savings.

Where do I have to go?

All Basic Handling Skills Tests are based in Te Rapa Hamilton.

Do I need my own bike?

You can use our Brand New KTM Duke 390 to complete the Basic Handling Skills Test.

It is small, light weight, fuel injected (smooth) and can turn in tight spaces making the test achievable compared to some other LAMS motorcycles.

How long is it going to take?

The test generally takes an hour to complete. You can choose to add some training before the test to see if you are comfortable with the skill level required to pass.
